When you join the Mount Laurel Emergency Medical Services team, you join an experience: an experience that will make a difference in your life, in the lives of your loved ones, and in the lives of the people in your community in one of the premier emergency medical organizations in Burlington County.
Your experience will start with top notch training in every aspect of basic life support and emergency rescue techniques. You'll complete courses in trauma life support, emergency vehicle operation, defibrillation, and CPR. The specialized training you receive is free as an actively contributing volunteer and will be an asset to you and your family for the rest of your life.
The training you receive is only the beginning of the experience. The thrill of being the rescuer rather than a bystander, the fulfillment of knowing you helped someone or saved a life, the peace of mind knowing that you can bring safety to your loved ones... these are the real rewards. The members of our team enjoy the excitement of the experience. They want to be involved; the time they devote isn't a sacrifice. As a volunteer member, you decide how much time you want to spend in the field. Most of our members have full-time jobs and fit EMS into their schedule as they see fit.
Your EMS training should prove to be an exciting experience, but it could also be the beginning of an exciting career. The training you receive will lay the groundwork for a variety of professions in the growing field of health care. What better way to explore a new career potential than by training and learning with us!
